Course overview
This introductory online course provides learners with an understanding of anaphylaxis, including its causes, the difference between anaphylaxis and other allergic reactions, and the importance of appropriate care. It explores how to recognise relevant risks, respond appropriately within a person’s role and support safer practice in healthcare, education, childcare, hospitality and other settings. The course takes approximately one hour to complete and is worth one CPD point.

Please note: This is an introductory Level 1 awareness course that provides theoretical knowledge about anaphylaxis. It does not replace any practical, regulated or role-specific training an employer may require.

Learners complete an online quiz at the end of the course. Unlimited assessment retakes are available. On successful completion, learners receive a free CPD-accredited Anaphylaxis certificate, which can be downloaded or printed at home. A hard-copy certificate can also be requested.
