Care Certificate Online Training Course – All 16 Standards – Online Course

Course overview
This online course covers the knowledge requirements of all 16 Care Certificate standards, including the learning disability and autism standard introduced in 2025. It explores the responsibilities, values and everyday practices that underpin high-quality, person-centred care. The course takes approximately 20 hours, is CPD accredited and carries 21 CPD points.

Please note: This course covers the knowledge elements of the Care Certificate only, and online training alone does not constitute achievement of the full Care Certificate. To achieve the full Care Certificate, learners must also demonstrate practical skills and behaviours through workplace assessment by a competent assessor, and the employer is responsible for ensuring all standards have been assessed and signed off.

Assessment and certificate
Learners complete an online multiple-choice assessment with a pass mark of 70%, and free retakes are available during the access period. After successfully completing the course, they can download a CPD-accredited training certificate immediately, which provides evidence of completing the knowledge-based training. The course is delivered 100% online and is self-paced, so it can be studied on a computer, tablet or smartphone with 12 months of access.
