Duty Of Care course

This session aims to encourage health and social care staff to think about their responsibility to the people in their care and themselves, colleagues, employers and members of the public so that they are always acting in the best interests of others and not acting in ways that result in harm or failing to act which results in harm.

The session will also give health and social care staff the opportunity to reflect on some examples of situations where staff should raise concerns and act in the best interest of others and this includes understanding where an individual’s rights conflict with the plans set out by health and social care staff.
