Diversity and Human Rights - General Awareness (NHS & Healthcare)

This is a course for general awareness that looks into aspects of equality and diversity, within the workplace.

Learning Outcomes:

• Have knowledge and understanding of both ‘equality’ and ‘diversity’ in terms of their meaning and interpretation
• Be aware of discrimination, and how and where it can take place, specifically within the workplace
• Have knowledge and understanding of how words and statements can affect others
• Carry out their role within the workplace, responsibly in terms of others
• Have knowledge of the related UK legislation and policies, and understand their reasoning
